“Abby first modeled for me at 15. Her mom brought her to my first Calgary studio and we had some great times.

She was super nervous so I had her hold my racing bike in a few shots and asked her if she had any idea of it’s worth. When I told her she became more nervous about holding that carbon fiber wonder than being photographed, and everything started falling into place.

This session was our third. Abby was 16 at the time, and it took place out on the North End of the city, past the city limits along a range road. It was FREEZING out, and luckily I had a rental car so in-car-heat wasn’t an issue. Not like my normal mode of transit. We’d shoot some, warm up some… shoot some more… but she was a trooper sticking it out until the bitter end, and she had her own ideas that she brought to the table.

Today, she’s studying plants for sustainable growth and inner city farming.”

Those earlier shots must have been sublime. She’s irresistible!
