To the Devil a Daughter (1975)
To the Devil a Daughter is a horror film directed by Peter Sykes and produced by Hammer Film Productions and the West German studio Terra Filmkunst.
It is based on the 1953 novel of the same name by Dennis Wheatley, and follows an American occult researcher in England who attempts to save a young girl preyed upon by a Satanic cult led by a fallen Catholic priest and features Nastassja Kinski in the role of Catherine.
The film was shot in Bavaria and London in 1975, and features an original musical score by Swiss-American composer Paul Glass. It premiered in London in February 1976 just 40 days after Kinski’s fifteenth birthday, making it a virtual certainty she was only fourteen when her scenes were shot (including full frontal nudity).
